So with the festive season soon to be upon us will you be staying at home? for the Christmas period or will you be visiting? going away for a holiday?

I'm spending Christmas day visiting family and will be visiting friends and family during the festive break!!

We will be staying at home and having family here but also of on our travels on the 27th December.

Will need a break after cooking for so many on the 24th Dec and 25th Dec!

my brother and his wife come round xmas day and xmas day my son comes round and my hubby cooks us a nice dinner.

i cant binge on chocolates anymore because i have diabetes though.

Is your kitchen station like a military operation?? lol Preperation beforehand is the key I assume...

This is the first year that I've dreaded Xmas. My brother & I don't really feel comfy around mum's new partner (he has the propensity to be controlling I'm finding) so its going to be awkward to say the least.

Love, love, LOVE Christmas! This year - for the second year ever, we're staying at home and seeing no one except friends.

We're of an age now I think where we shouldn't have to travel 200 miles South to see his parents then 200 miles North to see mine, every year. The motorway goes both ways, they just choose not to come to us as they want to see their grandchildren on Christmas day.

Family Christmas for us... not tons of pressies, just family time with games, DVDs, walks and meals together. Boxing days probably loads of friends...
