We have a half & half duvet as hubby & I like different togs.

His side is 13.5 tog and my side of it is 10.5 tog- so glad we found this one, previously we had our own singles & they got tangled up & such...

—— has never understood the TOG rating system. Prefer it to be known as thin in the summer, thick in the winter

At home, a 9 Tog normally, may change to a 4.5 Tog if it is very hot.

Camping is usually a 7.5 Tog, however the 4.5 Tog is to hand if it is very cold.

We have our summer one all year round as far too hot otherwise.

That is a 4 tog.

Me neither - I tend to use the 'the duvet needs replacing, what's on offer in asda?' approach

Yeah as a guy the whole tog thing is just over my head. It's a duvet. If it's warm enough for the winter. Good. If it's too hot in the summer just lay with one leg out or with it not pulled right up. Easy.

you'd be ok with me then - no need for a thicker duvet

i am a bugger for being too hot in the night and have been known to throw my half of the duvet on top of the other person in the bed too

someone accused me of trying to suffocate them once

and that's before i get on to the kicking on throwing my arms about

it is safer if i sleep alone

We never have our togs on in bed, so the thicker the duvet the better!
