What are the secrets of making up a bed for fantastic sleep

I assume it's a flat sheet on the bottom, appropriately tucked in and not a fitted sheet. Possibly an exquisite cushioned topper, above the mattress. And just a duvet on top.

What do you think?

That sounds nice just missing one thing. Well for me anyway. A nice soft woman to snuggle with would be perfect.

I agree on corton sheets.

Worthing

I think room temperature is even more important for good sleep. It's difficult recently with the heat gone and back to normal.Duvet on...off...on etc. I turn my matress every couple of months.

Brushed cotton bedsheets and single duvets. We sleep so much better when we don't have to share a duvet. You don't get overheated, can wrap it around yourself as much as you want to and you won't end up without one just because someone is hogging the whole thing

Just get a super king duvet, I've got one and there's always plenty left, pain in the arse changing it but its worth it

We have a super king size bed so we would not have plenty left. Plus singles are not pain in the ass when it comes to changing the bed sheets

Fitted or flat sheets? The choices and their effects?

A decent mattress to start. I just can’t find one

Gapping Fanny

Mattress is more important than fitted or flat sheets.

I honestly couldn’t tell you difference in sheet styles as I fidget and can ruck them all up.

A good pillow is also a must.
