Just done a hard,8 hour shift, in retail, on a Sat. Went out to find my push bike stolen. £80 lock.
Not giving away my personal details. Cost of living increases. I decided to bike to work, saving petrol ect. Was gonna put the money saved towards a trip to Lake district next year. Intrest rates going up. So the trip money is now going towards mortgage. So double wammy can't have the trip. I now don't have the money to replace the bike. So have to walk. It's probably been sold for £20. Life can be so crap. |

"Sorry to hear that OP, real shitty behaviour.
I hope Karma (if such a thing exists) comes their way.
Are you insured? "
No not insured, can't afford it. Trying to save money, due to cost of living. Hense buying a good lock, and putting it in dedicated bike parking. - thinking they have cctv as big retail park. No, no cctv in that area.
Not that far from home, and got bike as safer than walking home in the dark in winter. Will have to take car now, as I'm female. |

Have you checked your house insurance? Sometimes bikes are covered, even when not specified.
