I shall make some brandy butter to go with mine.
Love to mash mine up after warming it in the oven with brandy butter, and it makes very nice baby food! |

A mince pie in Scotland is a mutton pie, often referred to as a Scotch Pie, favoured by football supporters and washed down with a mug of Bovril.
What the OP is talking about is a mincemeat pie. |

Well it is stir up Sunday! The traditional day to make ur pies cakes and puddings for Christmas so it seems right to eat a pie! Mmmm I'm fancying one myself now, have a lush recipe for sweet butter short crust pastry here somewhere just for my mince pies yum |
