A beautiful soul that brought us so much joy and gave unconditional love for the last 11.5 years.

Now forever peaceful in the heavens above

Apparently splenic Tumors are common… he was doing so well for his age, nobody could have suspected that he was growing a fatal Tumor.

Very sad and emotional… he has left a void

That's heartbreaking, nothing can prepare you for losing a dog. Love and hugs to you OP

My Labrador is going into surgery in a couple of weeks to have a tumour removed too, awful that we can't explain what is happening.

Thank you all… it’s a sh*t feeling for sure

But the beautiful memories of him are solace and give comfort. Also knowing he enjoyed his meals upto a day before he slipped away…

Thanks again for all your kind comments… x

So sorry you've lost your furry friend. We have an 18 month old Labrador who has brought us so much joy in that short time. They really do become important family members....hugs x

So sorry for your loss OP. I lost my boy a few weeks ago, so I know exactly how you're feeling. The joy he brought into your life while he was with you will far outweigh the pain you're feeling in time. The only bad thing about dogs is that they don't live forever.

Sending hugs x

Mate, I’m so sorry, it is just as bad or worse that losing a relative. I get so attached to mine. Would quite happily lay down my life for them, they save us on so many counts, I will fall apart when my boy owes. The positive is that he no longer suffered, he knows how devoted you are to him
