Leeds (Home) / Sheffield (Work)

Hey fabulous fabbers,

I am seeking fantastic, alternative, trendy, niche, rustic, or down right cute cafes or tea houses in West Yorkshire (or the whole of Yorkshire).

Slightly ashamed to say I am a gold level member at Starbucks, and I want to explore independent places which have any kind of charm!

Places which have great treats are also welcomed!

Not a coffee house, but the best independent restaurant I've ever been to is Ox Club in Leeds.

Blacker Hall Farm has a great breakfast.

Lakeside at Newmillerdam is lovely.

Diagonally Parked in a Parallel Universe

Nice little cafe at Bingley Five Rise Locks. Have a walk along the canal then sit on an outside table to watch the house boats go through the locks.

Nice cafe to sit out and have breakfast at Brewery Wharf Leeds.

Waterton Palk hotel. Have a coffee and cake at a hotel on its own island on a lake. Very unique.

Coffee Evolution in Huddersfield. Trendy without crossing into hipster territory, a nice, relaxed vibe.
