You post photos too? Does that mean you're desperate for attention?
It's not friends, it's getting added to hotlists. And that happens when you produce consistent, regular photos that appeal to your audience. |

No it definitely is friends, I’ve seen a couple of them (although I think one of the serial ones has now left) actively seeking friend requests to appear first in peoples updates and thus get more fabs on their pics. Entirely up to them what they do of course but it gets a bit boring when it’s the same few people at the top of the list constantly |

I've never come across anyone who has done that but having people add you to your hotlist accomplishes the same thing and protects your friends list. If you find it boring - could just not look for a few weeks? |

It's one aspect of the site that is popular and some value, where as others don't particularly care for it.
Either is cool, we can all seek to hit page one or to avoid it.
Some do it for attention, others because they like to exhibit themselves.
Though we don't aim for page one, Mrs A enjoys the fabs because it gives her an idea on how many people have seen her exposed. |

Who cares , let them do fab the way they want I haven't 100s of friends and have made Irish hot pics a few times.
I check hot pics daily and if I like a pic I fab it, not because of you the pic is off its because I like the pic |

I fab photos of men and women either to simply show my admiration of their attractiveness, or because it was an inspiring photo. They are very rarely any of my 'few' fab friends, and even less likely that I know any of them. It's just a form of appreciation in my view |

I could, but it’ll be the same people at the top in a few weeks. Like I said, each to their own, I’m merely sharing that I have noticed what the OP is talking about and have seen these people actively encouraging friend requests from random to serve this very purpose  |

Me too. I don’t add friends unless I’ve met them (apart from the odd one or two). As for pics I’ll send them privately if I want to send any. I don’t particularly want the whole of fab seeing me half naked. |

Current hot pic has over 3500 fabs. I'm sure if even just half of them at 1750, anyone would know nearly all arnt genuine.
You got into the hot pics? Was that mostly because you had lots of friends or because men went crazy for a good pic? Also don't have to be friends for your pics to show on someone's feed if your on their hot list. |

I was on page one once, had one boob out
- didn’t have vag showing or a yeast infection as someone said above
- don’t have a huge friends list
- didn’t beg for fabs
But who cares what people post and if it gets on page 1?

Could be friends, could live in a densely populated area that hits more traffic on the local updates.
They could be more active on the forums, socials or scene and have more profile.
Might be they're just better looking or take better pictures.
Does any of it matter, nah, not really. It just comes across a little butt hurt it isn't you on the regular.

This is nothing about jealousy or having a go. Just seems to be an increasing number of people asking for fabs. Fab it to fuck it, fab it to lick it, fab it to be a friend etc. Just seems less spontaneous? Its nice when a picture is number one just because its a really hot picture and not because its been fabbed by thousands of 'friends' that the poster has no intention of ever chatting to or meeting.( Male half of couple here accepting all responsibility for resulting backlash!) |

It's probably the OP title, saying they're desperate for attention. It sounds like you're making assumptions or that it is a bad thing. The majority of us attention seek in one way or another, else we'd switch off the fab button on our photos or not post stuff on the forum.

What does it matter? It's not doing anyone any harm. Hopefully, they're not needing to be high up on the fabs to feel good about themselves, but if they are, that's for them to deal with.

Add many friends, maybe post a 'fab if' picture to make it on page one the first time, post statuses, pictures and videos regularly.
Join in the forums and/or chat rooms.
And if that's for them, that's cool, we all can play the game if it matters though to us.
