Self-Care - how do you treat yourself?

Today is a self care day! I try to aim for at least one day monthly.

So today I’m going for a pedicure followed by lunch at my fave cafe! How do you treat yourself?

A nice massage and a swim and maybe a trip to the cinema and lunch by myself would be nice. I just did a solo holiday to Greece which was amazing and just what the doctor ordered.

I occasionally treat myself to a 5 minute shower instead of a 4 minute shower.

60 seconds of pure indulgence.

As back in work tomorrow have shave moisturising all over used to use nivea for men more in to coconut oil now

Probably have kebab salad take a way this evening

I go for a walk, be in nature. Give myself a massage (self massage videos on YouTube), meditate, take time to luxuriate in things like clean sheets (rather than just getting on with it)

E: hair,nails,lashes,eyebrows every month goes a clothes shop as added treat sometimes.

W: swim,sauna,steam,jacuzzi 3 times a week, fresh trim once a week

Solo it's monthly

Mainly it's when I get to secure quality time with my inner circle and that happens weekly, therapy with love dashed with a sprinkle of outrageous belly laughs and tears

I enter a poker tournament at the casino and for those few hours my mind it completely at ease with only the cards in front of me to worry about
