Tom bought a prepacked tuna salad and helpfully it gave the origin of the product.

"Mix of EU and Non EU Produce"

So where did it come from?

From the EU and not the EU.

The tuna swam from EU waters into non EU waters and then back again.

But how can this tuna exercise it's right to freedom of movement after Brexit, Tom?

Either way, it's an absolute disgrace and no mistake.

The sea

But in reality

Oceans in and around the EU and from other places not in the EU

I think its funny that fish can be classed as EU fish when they have full run of the seas if they wish

Sounds like one of those philosophical arguments like Russells paradox or schroedingers cat.

Nobody can be interested in what's in a lidl salad surely..

It's about the provenance of the label saying the ingredients are sourced inside the EU and outside the EU

What's going on here guys ?

It's simples Tom.

It has a variety of ingredients.

Some from in the EU and some from out.

Lets say for example you bought a Hawaiian pizza as well. That might have ingredients from both. Because I'm pretty sure they don't grow pineapples in the EU but they do grow piggy wiggies for the ham.

Would that come from Hawaii and therefore be non EU?
