Eating grapes could add five years to a person's life......

The fruits are rich in chemicals that boost gut bacteria and lower cholesterol, which reduces the risk of both heart disease and cancer.

Researchers at Western New England University found that grapes flush out refined fats and sugar in processed foods, with regular consumption negating the effects of a junk food diet.

Mice gorged on grapes during a series of experiments and the "astonishing" results revealed that the rodents had less fatty liver and lived for longer than their peers.

Study co-author Dr. John Pezzuto explained that grapes actually change the expression of genes.

He said: "It adds an entirely new dimension to that old saying 'you are what you eat'. That is truly remarkable.

"The change observed in the study would correspond to an additional four to five years in the life of a human."

The futures green....the futures Grapes....

I've bought some cotton candy variety of grapes today. They are really very sweet and fragrant a flavour. These are by no doubt the best green seedless grapes I've come across. Sable are the best for flavour of black seedless grapes! Try them out.
