Squash?

Cordial?

Diluting juice?

Do you have a different name for it?

It's squash for me, diluting juice for the husband. There's something about him calling it diluting juice that just makes me cringe - which makes him do it more of course, and makes the kids copy him

"Pop"

I would only ever use that when talking about fizzy drinks. Is it all encompassing or do you only use the word for squash?

That's true actually. I would never call it lemon squash or lime squash. It's definitely cordial for them. Weird

Wow I have never heard anyone call it diluting juice, I'm surprised to see so many of you calling it that.

It's called squash.

Also I always thought squash and cordial were two different things. It's always reffered as lime cordial but never lime squash, likewise it's always reffered to as orange squash but never orange cordial...

Squash and cordial are different things aren’t they? In my head they are anyway.

It’s not really scientific or owt, but if it’s cloudy in appearance it’s a squash, if it’s clear / coloured but transparent it’s a cordial?

And diluting juice? Tell Mr R he’s a wrong ‘un
