I read an article about the wages and in the article it said that if you are on a £20,000 salary, your earnings are worth £620 less per year, this figure rises to £930 if you are on a £30,000 salary and £1,240 if you are on a £40,000 salary.
The cuts comes after a double whammy of soaring inflation and falling wages is creating an historic cost of living crisis, ed miliband was also worried about it, could there be more cuts and what could be done to improve the situation? |

Ofcom fuel regulator need a clear out how can they honestly say they are there to regulate the industry so many profits same with the petrol company’s
This government needs a kick up the arse more and more people feeling the pinch due to rising prices and money not being enough to survive many are staying on benefits because it’s not financially viable to work only my opinion of course  |

Yeah, because most voters in this country are older people with their own wealth, so they vote in a party that supports wealthy people keeping their wealth
Heavily taxing the wealthy is a tricky game. They’ll just take their stuff and leave if it gets too much, then we lose out.

It’s well known our system has a lot of loopholes so that the smart and wealthy can get away with paying way less tax then they should
The problem is, these are loopholes, not broken laws. We can’t legally punish someone for that. |

It’s well known our system has a lot of loopholes so that the smart and wealthy can get away with paying way less tax then they should
The problem is, these are loopholes, not broken laws. We can’t legally punish someone for that. "

if I didn’t have kids and friends I want to spend more than 91 days a year with I’d be gone in an instant , everyone thinks I’m totally crazy staying tax resident. But I refuse to design my life around tax or money , but not many people I know feel the same , they left the uk years ago |

The only solution and it's one that won't be popular is for the entire ountey to go on strike. Join union for legal protection take the utility companies and the government to court and refuse to do anything to run the country. I am not talking a lo g term strike like the miners attempted but a 24hr strike.
Yes you lose a days wage in hard times but if this is done often enough the government may be removed and the utility companies forced into public hands in France public utilities are nationalised a 10 days of electricity is £38 in the UK under privatisation its £ 268. |
