Petrol or diesel.

I've been tempted to get one and I really llike the panoramic sun roof options.

I drive 100 plus miles every weekend, mostly motor way driving and some rural.

This will be the older models around the 80,000+ miles.

I’d take a petrol to be honest. There is no much difference in price nowadays and the engine will make less noise in the long haul.

If you can find one go for a 1.6 Tdi diesel my previous Skoda Yeti had this engine and returned 54mpg over a two year period.

I am currently running a 1.4 Tsi petrol Yeti and struggling to get 35 mpg.

Will go back to diesel next year.

Ive see a 2014 that's done 265,000 miles for £2000, with a new MOT.

Is it worth it?

Totally agree. I had a skoda fabia 1.9 tdi and did 56mpg. I'm starting to regret I got rid of it considering the petrol prices have gone up.
