carbonated drinks have been linked to throat cancers in america plus aspartame is still used in many in the uk which is a known carsinogen so I would rather drink water

I rarely have some in a a tia maria or with vodka and its just pain old full sugar , usually cheapy asda's own

I don't really like fizzy drinks but if I had to choose it would be diet with ice or if there's alcohol involved it has to be full fat all the way.

I was working in sheltered housing for pensioners a few years ago, and one of the residents offered me a glass of . I took one sip and it was flatter than, erm something thats ammusingly flat, so I went to tip it out in the sink, and lumps of solidified cola plopped out of the glass into the basin. God knows how long that bottle had been open, and god knows how I didn't heave

Diet Coke is being blamed for Gulf War Syndrome, its all to do with the sweetener.

This sweetener 'Aspartame' marketed as Equal,Nutra Sweet and Spoonful can apparantly cause all sorts of problems, some serious.

When the temperature of this sweetener reaches 86f,the wood alcohol in Aspertame converts into formaldahyde, then into formic acid, which in turn causes metabolic acidosis.

Formic acid is the poisen found in the sting of fire ants.

The methanol toxicity mimics, among other conditions, multiple sclerosis and systematic lupus.

Many people were being diagnosed in error.

Although multiple sclerosis is not a death sentence, methanol toxicity is.

So, if you drink lots of Aspertame loaded drinks and suffer fibromyalgia symptoms,spazms,shooting pains,numbness in your legs,cramps,vertigo,dizziness,headaches,tinnitus,joint pain,unexplained depression,anxiety attacks,slurred speach,blurred vision,or memory loss,you probably have Aspartame poisoning!

Check the labels!

Cant stand pepsi - and nearly smacked a woman once in Pizza place who only had Pepsi - so i asked for something else - and she snorted at me "why - you cant bloody taste the difference!!!"
