I was told by a friend he doesn't meet from mid Dec till early Jan because its depressing for him but I don't see it that way as its more free time to play. What is your _iew on festive fun? |

I suppose there is that if you have family but a lot have at least a week off so it opens up all sorts of possibilities that are far from depressing.  |

"Normally if I'm off work over xmas and new year and the time in between then it means I have more free time to meet....but I am planning on being away the days between xmas and new year this year"
Lucky you getting away. I have 10 days off but the short break prices are massive so decided against it. |

Nothing planned over Christmas as I shall rest and treat myself to a couple of very nice meals.
Camping from the Sat after Christmas until the following Wed, so nothing planned either.

We hardly ever play over Christmas. We've 2 kids so spend as much time with them as possible , then visit parents. We also have work nights out, his friends night out and my friends night out. It's nice to spend time alone together as well so doubt we'll get involved at all. |
