What happened to the thunder storm?

Weather forecasts are still often inaccurate despite all the technology. Around midnight I checked the forecast for today. 40-60% chance of light rain throughout the day. Checked again on waking as it seemed pretty bright out there. Now 7% chance of light rain around tea time  |

Absolutely chucking it down here (between Bournemouth and Christchurch). Humidity has turned itself up a few notches. And, according to Accuweather, thunder and lightning to hit at 12pm, but they've been pushing it back an hour for the past 24 hours Could really do with it right now, my head is pounding |
