Nowadays I prefer live albums because there's less chance of autotune etc but a lot of bands "fix" mistakes in the studio and re-record parts. Prime examples are Live Right Here Right Now - Van Halen and Live & Dangerous - Thin Lizzy.
The only live part of Live & Dangerous is Brian Downey's kick drum. |

They were indeed- could have chosen anything they put out really.
Top marks for choosing Hup!, Not sure how popular a 'Top 3 Wonder Stuff Albums' thread, but been working my way through them on the way to/from work for a few days (have a soft spot for Rubbish Island- must be my natural proclivity for kink) |

I really don't understand why The Family Cat weren't much bigger!
I love all The Wonder Stuff's albums and Miles' solo work. Sadly it appears that it's finally come to an end other than gigs as he's said no more recorded music after his current solo album |

"I really can't narrow it down to three.
It all depends on my mood at the time, even then I'm not sure I could pick just three. "
"Top three of the day" is fine (then you can always post again tomorrow?) |

Missin’ Yo’ Kissin’ |
Fleetwood Mac - "Rumours." Whether yer a rocker or not it's classic.
Scorpions - "Blackout" Ballads & rockers. Famous Contemporary artist doing the cover that made them their most successful album.
AC/DC - "Back In Black." Every track amazing. All out balls-to-the-wall rockers. Sad, no more Bon Scott... But great cos Brian Johnson gives them a new sound.
That was tough.... |
