If I don't find three to four new spiders to be evicted each day, it's a miracle.
Understand they do a good role and all that. But they need to do it outside, not in my fly free house. (No, it's not fly free because of the spiders before someone says ) |

Spiders love dark, dusty, insect heavy homes.
Dust your corners regularly, even the dark places no one goes like behind the fridge , behind kitchen cupboards.... just everywhere. They hate being disturbed.
Better than that and preventative - use essential oil like peppermint or lavendar ..... watered down and sprayed around your OUTSIDE doors stops em coming in .... use inside to make them too uncomfortable to nest.
I always left spiders be believing they kept the flies down etc ..... then I found a huge egg drop behind my fridge freezer and that ended my kindness. Not least of all cos I kept finding baby spiders in the bath ....... which meant to me they must have been climbing through the bloody walls....... ( bathroom is over the kitchen ) |

I had two on my bedroom ceiling the other night. Two!!! And they were quite close together. It was like Chas and Dave had been on a night out and come home via my bedroom ceiling.
I was NOT impressed. Of all the rooms in the house and they chose mine |

Already started round here since they harvested the adjacent fields.
There is one massive thing behind the wood burner that I do not have the stoicism to remove. I am hoping by the time it comes to using the burner it’s moved on somewhere.
