I make a gorgeous West Indian plantain and chickpea curry and a jackfruit and plantain curry.
But my favourite curry is Stephen. (Sorry I couldn’t resist ) |

We will be spending most of this winter in India where it is hot. Bear in mind that spicy food is served all the time there. Food is taken, however at quite different times of day to us here.
There we eat almost exclusively veg meals as they are delicious, varied and very spicy.
I cook some while there but our favourite is in a restaurant in Arpora (Goa) where we have Bhindi chilli and green peas masala. Super spicy hot and utterly delicious. |

Ooh love a curry!
I make a Korma with chicken, sweet potato and coconut milk, but it has to simmer on low so the sweet potato breaks down into the sauce making it thick and sweet |

Poppadoms with lots of line pickle and mango. Tandoori lamb chops, King prawn samber or jalfrezi (depends where I am), coconut or garlic rice. Peshwari Nan.
Orange segments, supermarket after eights and supermarket whiskey. Preferably served in a booth. |
