I'm reading more and more in the forums where people comparing themselves to others. Thinking they're not tall enough, not thin enough, not pretty/handsome enough, not got big enough boobs or cock, bum's too big etc etc etc.
I'm here to remind you all that you are ALL amazing the way you are.
So what if you're not a clone of the person that gets a lot of photo/video fabs? So what if you see a person that has what the media says is the perfect sized body part(s)? Remember, most of the media are not only looking at manipulated photos of bodies, but are the ones doing the photo manipulation to show us. Hardly anybody has a photoshopped body for real.
There are people out there who will like you and want you for who you are and what you look like. Having a negative attitude towards yourself is a bigger turn off than anything else as far as I'm concerned.
Embrace who you are. Be you in a world of photoshopped photos and people going to desperate measures to look like them.

It brings some form of balance. To very imbalanced views about things esp in the fast paced media world.
Be happy from within. All happiness is not found externally.
Peace comes from deep within.
Dont expect many to like you. Either because of your skin colour,race,nose size,body shape ,height or other nan made factors. etc etc.

Thank you for the positivity about my thread. I almost deleted it without posting, but I'm glad it's here now.
Fab is a great place. I've been here almost 2.5yrs and I'm loving it. From the chatts in the forum, to messaging with some, to meeting up. It's been amazing for my self-esteem.

I have a bracelet that has 'I am' engraved on it. It reminds me that I am enough, I am beautiful, strong, independent, caring, loving and a whole heap of other nice things. |

This post reminds me of a post a few weeks back which was titled "If You Could Be", meaning if you could be anyone else, who would you like to be ?
That post made me think about my Uncle Bobby when he was terminally ill, I remember a conversation we shared together and he told me if he could ever come back again he would like to come back as himself.
I thought that was cool, he was a bachelor, a really nice man who lived life his way. No drama, beer, cigarettes and the love of Elvis.
You're right OP, we all need to embrace who we are, be content and be happy in our own skin.
