Old words that should be brought back

SomewhereOnlyWeKnow

As language changes some words are not used anymore.

Some examples:

Bedward

Overmorrow

Baseborn

Slugabed

Do you know the meanings of any of these words? I’m certainly going to be using some of them on fab

Any you want to add?

Marc

Nugatory.

Something that's wholly pointless. It's a good word to use at work.

And

Mafficking - "getting rowdy in the street." Others describe it as "rejoicing or celebrating with boisterous public demonstrations.”
