So with me being a bartender for just over 15 years and hopefully opening my own place in the next 5 years. Was just wondering what people's favourite cocktails are?
If your not into cocktails then what your favourite choice of drink on a night out? Also favourite snacks if they was available. |

"Sex on the beach
Just the cocktail or actual sex on the beach? "
The cocktail
A fit barman performing a screaming orgasm shot routine on me whilst laid on the bar...Was my first experience of being ground upon in my 20's |

Favourite shaken cocktail - Traditional margarita, shaken and strained with a salt rim.
Favourite built cocktail - Mojito, but replacing the soda water with prosecco.
Favourite blended cocktail - a pina colada, very simple, golden rum with pineapple juice and coconut cream blended with ice
Favourite shot cocktail- B52 gotta love the layers!
Also a former cocktail bartender by the way. |

"Dark and stormies
Closely followed by
Mojito
Mai tai
Daiquiri
Some great cocktail choices. Mostly rum based. I like your style "
Yes I do like my rum - one I forgot which most won’t have come across - rum sunrise
I also like vodka and occasionally whisky the one thing I can’t stand is gin! And yes I’ve tried all the flavours and cocktails etc
Slightly off topic but I got rather geekily excitedly that I recently managed to find champagne COUPE glasses, not flutes, not gin glasses proper 60’s/70’s style coupe glasses.
Are champagne cocktails a thing I wonder? |

I’m an idiot on champagne cocktails because of course there’s the classic Buck’s Fizz and of
course the air mail - deceptively sweet and easy to drink!
Op I also have a fantastically weird punch story but it’s WAY too outing to post here but if you’d like to hear it happy to tell by pm |

Screaming orgasm, tequila sunrise, pornstar martini or a sex on the beach. Any of those would be heaven right about now!!
Cherry bakewell and squashed frog shooters were great as well back in the day, always appreciated a bartender with a very steady hand with those little masterpieces |

Cant beat a well made french martini
Although i do a nice twist on an espresso martini, half a measure of kahlua and half a cointreau instead of just kahlua as in the usual recipe, gives it an almost chocolatey orange twist if you use vanilla vodka |

Oh and I forgot about my blood orange margarita.
Same as a usual one but swap triple sec for a blood orange liqueur and use agar agar in place of simple syrup (if you're using simple syrup)... I deliberately wanted this a little sweeter. |

I'm surprised how no one has mentioned this although when asked what is my fave, it appears no one has heard of it but for me my absolute fave is a June bug.. I tend to drink them like a soft drink until I try to walk, after a few |

If you’re going to mix pernod and bourbon, a sazerac would be the way to go. |
