Good old Bruce - an all round entertainer who at 83 still manages to turn a few heads. I quite like him. Never liked Saville much though.

I've always found him creepy, I think its the gurning he does. Like a dirty old man looking through your bathroom window whilst having a wank

How interesting that one person can evoke quite opposite feelings in two people. I have never thought of him as creepy, just really good in his work and a gifted pianist as well.

i have no opinion on the man as i do not watch the programmes he does.

I found him uber-creepy after watching the documentary on him which was on ITV (I think) about 18 months ago. He seemed a little 'unusual' on Who do you think you are? too.... I think he's got one of those personalities that works on TV or on stage, but not in person, in 'everyday' company...

I would agree with you on the latter part of your statement. He does have a TV personality and I wonder how different he might be as a private person.

Neither of these people exist in the way you are implying. Forsyth and Savile however....

I had some done a few years ago, but they are out of date since I put weight on. Do I leave the old ones as they are, or try and stretch the canvas to my new shape?

Note to myself. Next time I have a self portrait done, do it on a rubber sheet so its future proof!
