The left leaning Guardian newspaper has posted a video of a bear purported to be high on honey. Apparently wild rhododendron bushes that grow in some parts of Turkey, the country, produce hallucinogenic pollen which locals turn into mad honey. It soothes anxiety but too much turns you into.. well see the bear.. is this honey available in Tesco...?
Video purports that this stoned bear is being rescued by locals but believe Tom. There is more to this than meets the eye...
Is the bear being rescued or captured? Will the bear wake up in a circus ?
This story is all over the news.. |

I've missed this even though it's 'all over the news'.
Where can you buy this honey though? Would be lovely on some nice toasted crumpets......

I can't usually vouch for the veracity of Tom's comments, but Honey Madness is a real thing.
Rhododendron are highly poisonous and when bees make honey after eating the Rhododendron pollen, the toxin is in the honey.
It used to be the ultimate in death threats in Italy during the renaissance period, a bouquet of Rhododendron in a black vase. Much classier than a horse's head in the bed.
