Saw someone had posted on here that someone had libel'd them and when questioned them they said they would take the other person to court.

Have you heard of anything else as ridiculous on here!

Not all that North of North London

Can something directed at a anonymous profile be considered libelous or slanderous?

"I wouldn't have the energy for that crazy shit, or for petty people."

Or the money. Do these people who threaten to take legal action think it's free? But mainly I couldn't be arsed.

If someone libelled me I'd act on it.

My guess is that someone is shouting LIBELOUS when it really isn't.

It really does depend what it is. If it got to point that I thought it so serious that I needed to act on it, the chances are it's probably criminal behaviour rather than just a civil libel case.

I think a lot of people think that law type words are like magic spells.

The person showed me what they had said and all it was was that they had doctored their images and they filmed without telling people.

If it's true it's not libelous. Someone can say you put the severed heads of your meets on broom poles and as long as it's true they can't be done for libel.

OMG Granny! We all know that you don't suffer fools gladly, and that decapitation is occasionally justified, but broom poles really!! You'll find that it gives a much more effective warning if you line up the heads on the spikes of the iron railings along the front of the house

Alicante, Spain. (Sometimes in Wales)

This is like the hokum legalese warning on some profiles. Again, I can just see the first day of proceedings.

"Ladies and gentlemen of the jury. My client filmed his acquaintances in a dogging gangbang bukkake session. Unfortunately, they have declined to appear today to confirm that it's them sucking 10 strangers cocks in Dingle Woods Car Park. However ...." [makes a sweeping gesture towards a table full of anal beads, dildos and cameras] " .... we have many other exhibits to prove ......"
