I can't cope man!
I get so ill in the heat, feel sick, like I'm going to pass out.
I've had 3 showers today and my bedding sheet is in the fridge for tonight. |

Not a doctor, but i would say have some water, chocolate and a packet of crisps. It sounds like you are dehydrated and those 3 should give you the water, sugar and salt to get past it (mostly). The first heat wave I had what I would assume is vertigo, dizziness for the entire day! |

Yeah I've been drinking loads of water, but then I'm constantly going to the loo |

Consider a portaloo that comes with you so you don't have to go to it |

"I don't start my new job till Sunday night so going to lye out in it and actually get some sun rather than being stuck inside working all the time."
I'm working from home this week, think I'm just going to embrace it and sit in the garden on the lap top tomorrow.
Maybes in a paddling pool |

Ummm… just keep cool and carry on. Ok, so I’m lucky, I don’t have to go to work. I’ll walk the dog at around 7.00am and again at 9pm. Got a few things to do during the day, most outdoors, so dress in loose clothes, keep hydrated, wear a hat if I’m going to be out for a while. You won’t find me attempting to jog around the block or do anything hugely energetic in the noonday sun. Well, not outside of a cool room anyway. Happy to rub suncream on anyone who wants it though |

"I’d booked this week off anyway so I’m just going to sit in the cool of my living room and then later in the day I’m going to splash around in the paddling pool, pheweeeee "
Those paddling pools seem to have appeared most urban gardens surpassing even the trampolines |

I’m too old for a trampoline, but never too old for a splashy splash |

Today is my weekend so I'll be spending it sweating my tits off with excruciating chub rub of the inner thigh and bum crack whilst at work, with customers moaning that its hot whilst also sending me back and forth umpteen times instead of asking for stuff all at once. |

Sounds like you need a kind gentleman to give you a lovely foot rub whilst you sit in front of a cooling fan drinking your favourite cold beverage x |

I doubt that this will be the case in Scotland. Our summer has been pants so far. |
