Ok so I know this has been done before, but I’m just putting it out there for anyone wanting a social meet up and a verification to show genuine.
I’m free from Thursday for 10 days, and happy to meet up locally (Essex) for a social drink … cake for the ladies  and a verification to show the person is genuine.
Any takers? |

Seems nobody likes the idea of a coffee and a verification then?

I'll go out on a limb here and suggest that whilst it's very unfair perhaps... Ladies don't seem to require veris. So, it's probably only the men who actually complain they can't get any. Then if someone isn't bi, they're just going to get asked why they have a veri from a man  |

I'll go out on a limb here and suggest that whilst it's very unfair perhaps... Ladies don't seem to require veris. So, it's probably only the men who actually complain they can't get any. Then if someone isn't bi, they're just going to get asked why they have a veri from a man "

What a great concept. Perhaps you could open this thread up to people that want verifying. As the young lady said, your area, whilst it may be large, for some is not large enough.

Let's say 10 of us meet to veri each other by cam. I send my stand in ..... either Marilyn or Pamela... I get veri's .... Who is to know otherwise.

Yep agreed. A large chunk of the men are all talk in broad terms and the ones that moan the most are the worst. We've organised big local pub socials before of say 20 or more people which have been the perfect chance to meet people. Always struggled to get many men to turn up. They all say they will and are keen but when it comes down to it even with lots of notice few will attend or back out last minute. Ladies much easier. A couple of times we've had more ladies than men I think. |

Both men had used the line that men shouldn't be afraid to verify each other because we all had so much in common.
I have nothing in common with either and I could never justify verifying people like that just for the sake of it.
Unfortunately a lot of small socials are being arranged since lockdown with virtually no checks on attendees by the organisers.
They have an "everyone is welcome" approach which allows people with history to wipe the slate clean on a shiny new profile verified by people who have no knowledge of their previous antics. |

That is generally the idea but the entire scene in Ireland much smaller with a small town mentality which is necessary. There is no club scene to speak of and the couple that do exist are invitation only once a month at most.
Swingers gatherings have been the subject of a number of front page stories in the Sunday papers so there is a responsibility on organisers to at least engage with those they allow attend or have some knowledge of who they are. |

I love this idea, I have met a few guys for coffee or socials only just to help them out. It's always fun for a chat and to meet new people.
Although I've found organised social events a lot of fun as well. But I do get that these can be very daunting, and when I first started going to clubs and social events alone, it was terrifying.

We have had the opposite here in Norwich, we have more men come along, and not enough ladies or couples and on the actual point of the socials - we are doing them to actually try and meet the people off here in person, get from behind the screen for a nice change and get to know some new people, and a chat and a good evening out now and then, and of course verifications can be done after, and swapping details meet in future for fun or other. Come on people with the horrible few years of not being able to meet in person, lots of people being lonely, etc, surely it won't hurt to go to some socials in your local area ? if people are in norwich or come to norwich please feel free to message me for details of the socials monthly i am doing with friend, and am always up for a coffee and cake males, females and couples xxx |

If it's solely a meeting for utilitarian purposes they could veri by cam and save themselves the travel or the prospect of being landed in company they don't want.
I would agree, except that so many people say that a cam veri doesn't mean the same (or isn't worth the paper it's written on).
No veri is really ....
Let's say 10 of us meet to veri each other by cam. I send my stand in ..... either Marilyn or Pamela... I get veri's .... Who is to know otherwise.
Same if we meet in a bar, coffee shop or your mam's parlour.....

It’s true. I’ve seen a guy with dozens of positive veris from people who don’t really know them just being polite while those who do know them say they are a pushy cheating sex pest. All a coffee veri can really say is they turned up and drank coffee |

Totally agree. When we have organised firstly they are not open to everyone and only tell the exact location few days before unless we've already met and trust.
Feel a little bit the same on some of house parties that are advertised. Basically open to pretty much anyone in some cases as long pay the dosh. At a club at least big space generally and easy to dodge people but in a house much harder to run away |
