Chelmsford

Are the Ozzie's are up to their old tricks. Reports say that one of their cricketers played in the Commonwealth Games Final despite having Covid. Is that sportsmanship. ?

String 'em up Tom. It's the only language they understand.

Did he deliberately play knowing he had covid, or was he tested after the match and subsequently found to be positive?

I might be mistaken but I believe it was all announced beforehand and he was given permission to play by the games and the ICC

Sure it's on the BBC somewhere

When the Ossies won the one with the Covid could not join in the group huddle. Think it might have been a woman

It was a female and the Indian team were informed beforehand and she was allowed to play

Not all that North of North London

I'm not sure if it was the same at the commonwealth games but at the tour de france a positive test didn't automatically mean they couldn't start, they also tested the viral load and the decision was based on that. A low viral load supposedly means that the virus is less transmissible
