By (user no longer on site) OP     over a year ago

I have two, both on upper arm, I plan to have more.

At soon to be 59 I've been asked "aren't you too old for that", I don't think so.

Thoughts?

You’re never too old, especially if doing what makes you happy.

Have never ever felt the urge to have a tattoo in my life - just my personal preference - but follow your heart OP, if that is what you want then go for it.

Nope. Your body. Do what you like with it. Sod anyone else!

Do whatever the hell you want OP. It's your body. And it's only your opinion that matters!

Age is irrelevant. If you want to do it, do it, if you have reservations I would work them out and resolve them first, in case they’re something subconsciously telling you not to.

That said, share a pic of your body art when you do get it done.

At least being older you won’t have people coming up and saying “they’ll age terribly”

I got my first tattoo for my 50th birthday. May get another when I turn 60. Your body, your choice. Don’t let other people get inside your head x

Never. I've cared for elderly people with tattoos, and they've always been a great thing to chat about to help get to know the person. Some don't look like they once did, but they're still badass

Not all that North of North London

I was 48 when I had my sleeve. This year I've already had a back piece and am planning another chest piece before starting on my legs.

There's no age limit, if you like them do it

You're too old, it's just another dull response like you'll regret them when you're older
