Newcastle won 2-0 against newly promoted Forest. It’s honestly looked like boys against men and on another day it could have been 5-0.

A seriously impressive performance and if we add to our attack before the window closes we might be in for a good season.

I’m glad they’re back where I feel they belong but if they play like that every week they’ll be in trouble.

It’s been a while since I’ve been this excited at the start of the season.

Thought we looked a little rusty from KO but after 10-15mins settled in and totally controlled the game right through to full time.

With Liverpool dropping points and the rags losing at home, a great start to the season.

Good to see things are on the up for Oldham, a proper club with decent fans

Tell you what though, the Conference is a tough old league and one that definitely can humble any ex-league side that finds themselves down there. Some fantastic away days though.. have fun!

Playing Brentford in the late kick off. 1-1, they'll lead through a pass across the box having bypased the midfield with ease pulling our defenders out of position leaving gaps in behind just like outlrnlast game. And the game before that, and the game before that...

We played last night (Burnley). Didn't get to watch it all but was a bit of a mixed bag from what I've heard.

Disappointing but over all, but given relegation and manager upheaval... we've actually had a cracking start to the season and made some exciting signings.

Well the worst defeat in the last 10 days… if this is what Brentford do, imagine what the scousers could do….

There could be United fans on window ledges all over the south of England!!!!

Are we all looking forward to the Gary Neville/ Roy Keane/ Jamie redknapp panel for MNF next week… it will be 90 minutes pre kickoff on United alone!!

Hahahaha I am, fully respect those guys especially Roy Keane with me being a Forest supporter, true pro’s never hold back, they will be on fire if the score line stays the same "

Absolutely, I've given up watching international rugby, it's too much stop/start and then hang around for seemingly ages whilst they strutinise something from many different angles. I've normally changed channels by the time they've actually decided what to do.

Given our managerial situation, it was great to see the players giving 100%, just a shame we made changes too late in the game.
