depends what was in the message and what the person you sent it to was looking for probably.. might be worth searching the forum some big threads on this subject over last couple of days you might find answer in there...

Most likely reason? They aren't interested!
There's no 'right to a reply' - and expecting every message to get a response just results in frustration and a negative outlook!
Hang around longer than a couple if months and you'll soon learn! Some will reply and some won't. If they're interested in your profile, pics, interests - and of course your message - then the chances are greater that they will.

I'm aware know one owes anyone a reply but having received winks from fellow members ( which I understand to be a basic acknowledgement at least), having then written an informative message, they still get ignored.
I assume I should just revert to the bog standard message ' fancy a fuck doll' |

I read your profile.. I would just say no thanks.. .Im not submissive.People have to like what you write in your profile to want to continue speaking with you..That is how I see it anyway. Aside from that I find your profile picture off putting so most likely would ignore. probably not what you want to hear. |

I don't mind hearing all sides and opinions, I'm not that far up my own ass that I can't take criticism and rejection.
My point is I assume that when they wink, they have read my profile (I understand the majority may not like).

I wouldn't expect either to get a response from someone at the other end of the country, then again I would have no interest in messaging someone else that far away. I tend to at least fairly realistic in that sense. |
