I know people who chose a team name that made reference to a niche vocal music group and was pun on one of the team member's surname. They also seem to have written it poorly.
What was supposed to be Botches 8 was announced during the score-giving as Bollocks 82, and that's the name they have been using ever since. |

There was a group of obnoxious blokes at our local who thought it was funny to call themselves Guy Gibson's Dog (if you don't know how unsuitable and racist this is, Google is your friend).
To mock them we changed our team name to Guy Gibson's Dogging |
