Do forum users meet?

Other forum users for sex or social or both? Or do you look elsewhere on fab for sex meetings?
I would meet forum users socially but not for sex...I look for non forum users for that. |

I tend not to. I've tried to meet a few forum users for socials and for one reason or another it hasn't worked out in the vast majority of cases.
The one time it worked it was lovely (an absolute pleasure!), but I've been messed around more trying to meet people off the forums than I ever was meeting non-forum users and meeting via socials and messages. |

We have only played with one person from the forums and have met socially with a few.
We wouldn’t not meet forum people as to us it’s about a connection and you’ve already got a sense of someone on the forums.

Same,I tried to meet a forum user,I thought it was going well...then blocked ouch lol so now I don't look at forum users in that way |

We've all been blocked! My issues were more around being stood up than about being blocked. |

We've all been blocked! My issues were more around being stood up than about being blocked."

It's about the person, so they may or may not be forum users...
Can be fun to join in on the same forum threads though, or share the same comments from reading the same threads ...just adds an extra dimension |

I think my preference would be to meet forum members
You get a feeling of who they are likes dislikes etc
I don't think I've presented myself very well here so unlikely to find someone soon
In fact I've even stopped searching and messaging since finding the forum |

I have discussed possibly meeting for a social with a previous fab member, but it went no further.
Wouldn't rule it out, conversation never really headed that way, other than the one mentioned |

I never used to until I found the forums in lockdown. It’s not a bad way of getting a feel what someone’s really like , even if they are quite different in person, it’s a different / another perspective than private messages. That makes sense to me anyway….. |

It does make sense. What you see on the fora is a snapshot of the mood at that moment in time. Maybe over a period of time you get more of a feel (albeit with a hefty dose of confirmation bias) and if they're your sort of person. |

I find that when someone posts something interesting it prompts me to look at their profile. If we are both seeking something similar, then I will send a message and in some cases (sadly not as often as I would like), that will lead to and exchange of messages etc. Sadly the decision to actually meet is even lower, but it has happened very occasionally. |

I see the forums as more social, mostly because everyone is so far away.
I guess if i liked someone enough I would but I realised early on that the forums probably isn’t the best place to look for sexual playmates.
