Just having a few days off work with the family will be nice, can't think of anything I want. Just looking forward to the weekend away hubby and I are treating ourselves to just before christmas, log cabin, hot tub.....bliss  |

This xmas will be extra brilliant.
get 2 nights with Rusty a week before xmas, then its my princess's 3rd birthday on xmas eve and the big day itself is spent with my family.

We'll be doing Xmas Eve at Beamish same as usual (if you haven't been I strongly reccomend it as it's lovely n traditional n stuff, especially if it snows), then Xmas Day we have Siren's folks round for dinner, which I'm cooking (I stay up on Xmas Eve and cook the Turkey overnight - just me, two bottles of red wine and a plump bird).
Then it's down south on the 27th to get my daughter and bring her back up on the 28th for 10 days.
I don't need a present.  |

That my brother and his family remember that Xmas cards arrive in time for Xmas and NOT in January, February or March, once they've decided to send them!
Why I send them theirs on time and they don't get the hint, Gawd knows? |

All my family are turning up for four days, got 2 cousins back from deployment and very rare all family are together unless someone is dead or married. Christmas for us is all family and friends. So after a few hard years for us all to get together will be great. |
