Porn isn't responsible for anything other than a lot of fake sex. As an individual with a mind of our own we make our own mind up as to what is right and wrong and parents our ultimately responsible to teach their sons and daughters about what is/isnt acceptable behaviour......just my view though |

Not for myself it hasn’t lied or warped any of my expectations. Truthfully I think it’s helped me understand things around sex in a positive way. There are lots of male pornstars that aren’t actually that “hung” or have perfect abs |

I'll be honest, most of my earlier sexual encounters with the opposite sex were older than me. My first time was with a girl 3 years older than me. At 19 I was playing around with a girl in her early 30s. When I was 21 I was regularly seeing a 40-year-old woman, purely for sex. Porn has lied about a lot of things, but let's be honest so has just about everything that we yearn to have or experience from toys as kids, to that life changing gadget you must have.
My personal experience of fab has been the less expectation I've placed in it,the more rewarding.

I'm not sure if you're serious with this post but I would say porn definitely has a lot to answer for. I'm lucky enough that I was able to open my eyes at an early age and realise that porn and real life are two completely different things. But sadly for too many, they never realise that and it does create so many unrealistic expectations and scenarios.
I guess if you can seperate the two then porn isn't so bad, but porn most certainly lies to us yes. |

It depends on the porn you watch guys, I have shot 100's of 40-80 Yr old women in about 1000 movies during the last 24 yrs, most of these films have been the women's own fantasies from their bucket lists.

I'm wondering who all these gullible people are who believe everything in porn films as I'm concerned about how they navigate the rest of their lives without serious confusion?
I wonder if these young men/boys are like all those extra violent offenders and serial killers that didn't appear as predicted in my generation due to watching films like Alien and Nightmare on Elm Street or the ones in more recent generations corrupted by playing GTA?
I also wonder how these genres of porn became popular if their existence is purely to feed the wishes of those who watch them but only watch them because their minds have first been corrupted by the existence of those same genre's? Its almost as though contrary to all the evidence of human history, in the case of porn the product wasn't made to satisfy a demand but mysteriously a random bunch of porn directors created product that no one had thought about before and suddenly all the young men in the world altered their fantasies to suit the product being offered.
I also wonder how come despite the widely touted success of internet porn at changing the sexual tastes of an entire generation, the gay conversion therapy centres totally failed to use it successfully in their work?
Finally, I genuinely wonder about the search terms people use in their porn searches. When I click on porn (wheel centre) the proffered films are across a wide range of genres, there may be one or two that focus on anal, possibly one or two with a s&m theme or some other kink but the vast majority will be men and women having consensual enjoyable sex. Granted the positions are often a bit more energetic than I would find comfy in my old age but then of all the charges I've heard leveled at porn the most obviously lacking one is the belief it has forced young people to have sex in uncomfortable positions despite this being perhaos the most obvious and universal difference between porn and real life. It's almost as though people are capable of finding what they like and what works for them. Then again, these weird and wonderful positions aren't exactly new, you can see them painted on Greek vases from 3000 years ago so maybe, just maybe, there really is nothing new under the sun.
Don't get me wrong, I'm quite sure there are thousands of youngsters out there for whom their first few sexual encounters were spoilt by misunderstanding porn. However, if you were able to question young people from all eras in history I'm absolutely certain you wouldn't get recitals of people losing their virginity in achingly beautiful and choreographed passion up until 2005 when all the teenage boys suddenly turn into misogynistic violent cretins hate fucking the girls due to a warped understanding of sex. Years ago, a virgins only exposure to sex prior to their first time usually came from watching farmyard animals but for some reason no one believes that caused any harm.
