Apparently there is a Porn Idol strip competition at a London Gay pub and contestants can win 1k so police officers have been going every Thursday to supplement their poor wages. Now the Chief of Police has warned them about going even when they are off duty.
What's going on here guys?

There are easier ways for a police officer to earn an extra grand, like being a private Dick?
Come on this is nonsense it's not as if they're redundant steel workers thrown on the scrap heap! Or one of the many thousands in need of a food bank. They are closet homosexuals pretending to be poor for a poor excuse. |

Hardly disrepute stripping in a gay club with a consensual audience . .. who could possibly take offence ? |

There is no suggestion of any unlawful act having taken place. However officers were reminded of the need to uphold standards while off duty, especially when identifying themselves as police officers.
