That's awful!!! I had my number passed on to a meets friend and he rung me. Was firm but polite to him but made it clear I was not impressed. Never did find out who it was though

Do what we do and buy a very cheap mobile or use an old one and stick a PAYG sim in at, only switch it on when meeting people or if you wanted to contact someone whom you have their number in it.

Works for us

Play only phone PAYG is a good idea.

£10 phone from Tesco with free sim.

Never top it up just use for play and for them to ring you.

Anything goes wrong then bin the sim and is untraceable.

If you wish to top it up buy a voucher and pay cash, dont collect your Tesco club cards points either.

And if your phone is a smart phone try Mr. Number to block numbers.

I only give my number out to people I have met and am happy to take things further with. This means I have lost out on some meets but after having some of the most vile messages I am happier this way.

As others have said you can get a £10 PAG phone from most of the major supermarkets.
