I had a conversation with some weirdo at the weekend, who puts his chocolate in the fridge.
Do you do this, or are you normal…..? |

Nope.

I don't care how hot and melty it might be, fucking lick it up instead but do not, ever, fridge it.

Ambient temperatures kinda force the hand sometimes.
But it can give certain chocolates an interesting twist, caramels have more chew, the pleasure of a slower melt in the mouth.
I mean sure, probably not normal, it's just that you're basic, right?
Jokes kids, jokes.

I always put chocolate in the fridge, all year round and eat it straight out of the fridge.
There are only a few bars that I wouldn't, like a fudge, they don't go in the fridge.
Im still working my way through Easter eggs.
Love a dairy milk bar or a Cadbury caramel bar that been in the fridge.

Chocolate that stays in high temperatures for prolonged times can go bad. Sometimes keeping it in the fridge is safer or at least in a cool place. I don't like cold chocolate but a few minutes out of the fridge before eating it can sort that out |

Pretty much the only chocolate I each is Maltesers.
I put them in the fridge because I like to have the chocolate hard enough to bite off so it comes away easily and leaves the malty goodness intact for me to dissolve on my tongue. |

Part of the sensuality of eating chocolate comes from placing it in your mouth and it instantly start melting, coating your tongue in its silky sweetness.
Chocolatiers strive to make that mouth feel as good as possible, then people slap it in a fridge and fuck it all up.
Might as well go and put pineapple on it while your there. |

Yeah, but sometimes your sweet tooth just wants to absolutely smash into a bar of chocolate and being able to do that without peeling the wrapper away from the chocolate makes it worthwhile |

Might as well go and put pineapple on it while your there.
Ooooh.... Now then. Fresh pineapple coated in dark chocolate straight from the fridge is definitely something I could get behind!
Cadbury's have just released Dairy Milk Tropical Pineapple.
Dairy milk with a gooey, pineapple centre
Dairy Milk is just vile anyway!
Have you tried Dark Milk?
That is really nice
Yep. Why did it take them so long?
BTW, it's especially nice straight out of the fridge.
Bloody isn’t "
It is and I shall now go and get my bar from the fridge and that will prove it. |

Keep it in the fridge but take out for half an hour before eating it.
If it’s a yorkie more like 45 mins.

It helps with dieting as you end up just sucking on one peice rather than down an entire bar in less than 10 mins which is usually the case with most oanus, let's be honest |

Where else would you put it lol? I don't want melted chocolate that is hard to eat and sticks to the wrapper. Melted chocolate is for the bedroom or a dessert. I have a whole shelf in my fridge dedicated to chocolate. |

My old flatmate used to do this. It loses its taste and can take your teeth out. Don't know what you're supposed to get from putting it in the fridge, unless you fancy a new doorstop |
