It’s been a little while since I posted this thread, so let’s bring a moment of self reflection, introspection and non reactive thought about others to the forums, as it can be helpful.
It might seem a strange idea but at it’s heart is the intent for us to be more rounded and understanding people.
Self reflection is an important tool in understanding what, why and how we act but so is how others honestly see us.
Post that you’re in on the thread, then respond to others via private message with honest opinions about people. Not nasty, not sycophantic, honest appraisals of how you feel about them, this isn’t a chance to try to ‘get in’ with that hottie, this should be a self improvement exercise.
Please remember to keep it via PM, not on the thread.
The intent is to honestly see how others view us, if you give criticism, then please be constructive with it. Try to think of it like group therapy, it’s not about you, it’s about others too. Remember to be kind folks. Let’s see how this goes...
Remember to respect filters, if you can’t directly message someone, then don’t post it on the thread, it’s meant to be private and personal.
Please also do send messages, passivity only lessens the interaction and those that often complain about not receiving messages, also tend to be the ones that didn’t send any.
Away you go folks |

Dude, if we are ever in the same club, I'm drinking up and going home. There's no way I'm going to be able to measure up against you for getting picked for fun |

It’s not against the rules though, anyone can constructively join in , take the piss, sat popcorn or whatever they want.
Not in. Don’t care what strangers on the internet think about me, those that matter tell me without being asked. |

"I’m intrigued as to what you think of me, because I’m perplexed as to how I feel about me.
I loves you "
Oh my giddy aunt and I loves you too.
Shall we run away together and start a cult dedicated to the pursuit of happiness, commemorative tea towels and marmite. |

Unless they are people you have met in person and spent time with, then surely these thoughts, impressions and opinions are going to be very superficial and largely based on the persona that is displayed in a profile and maybe occasional forum posts. |

"There is no understanding some people's actions but know some 'self reflect' when it suits them, but in reality they have no clue what it means. "
Surely any form of self reflection is better than none and personal growth on any level is a positive.

On the face of it, maybe. I’ve found that people are remarkably astute though and you’d be amazed at what they pick up.
It’s not just what’s said, it’s what’s not said.

Not really , people need to be mature & secure to a degree to self reflect and people giving feedback need to be genuine and not have motives like sex and popularity.
Why not just ask your closet friends for honest feedback, if you really want it ? |

Wait, you're saying folk on Fab sometimes aren't self aware and don't always know/see their flaws?
Ludicrous.

Probably still better than making snide remarks on threads that are meant to be positive |

Interesting concept, however the real person behind the keyboard can be a completely different person ..you can't get a feel for emotions over this , however if they write on forum's you can get a feel for their views and come character instincts.. |
