I’ve read it. I’m not sure it’s what I’d read for what you mention.

Have you thought about having some talking therapy? If you find the right therapist they can really help?

I started to read it didn’t think much of it at all, quite badly written and not sound scientifically , lots of the authors Mia- interpretations on evolutionary biology.

Most of that stuff is opera Winfrey pop psychology none-sense , there’s the odd book that’s interesting but reading books generally won’t be enough to change you.

Try doing something like swimming purely for it’s own sake and not counting lengths, that will get you out of your head

Great book, Peters is very clever in his thinking, and it makes a lot of sense, all depends what you want to get from it but I would say buy it all day long

I’d second this, it feels like maybe you have feelings of not being good enough and these can be really deep-rooted and are often leftover from childhood and others’ expectations of us. It’s quite likely it’s going to take more than reading a book to challenge them. I think the fact you’ve recognised it and are wanting to change is a really positive thing! x

Better off reading the book "be like Bart" about listening to your inner Bart

My nan’s spare room.

I think it’s excellent although it tells you a lot of what you should know but you’ve not recognised in yourself.

Every time you log onto fab when you should be being productive elsewhere.

That’s your chimp that is.

I wouldn’t rule it out based on one experience, there are so many different types and the therapists themselves will have a massive effect on how you find it x

It's a great book, but I'm not sure if it align with what you're describing.

Have a look at online CBT resources via the NHS website.
