"Wimpy, their burgers and stuff so much better than rubbish served these days and oh the coffee in glass cups!!! "
I’ve heard they’re making a revival with new shops opening. Can’t remember exactly where though. Would be great if they make a come back |

London/Essex... ish... Romford to be exact |
Wimpy opened in Romford a few years ago but didn't survive for long. I went there for a bowler/brown Derby and they didn't have it. There was one in Dartford but its been a while since I went there. I can confirm there's good reason Wimpy restaurants are disappearing from the High St. Mediocre and greasy food. The desserts were the best thing about it.
I remember Green Shield stamp stores although I was too young to know how it all worked. |

"Woolworths - used to buy my vinyl records in there and pick n mix.
Chelsea Girl - my teenage shopping place "
I miss Woolworths, so many good memories. I think the first CD I ever bought was an Aqua one from Woolies, may have been Dr Jones, don't recall. |

We've had a Wimpy close to me for years. If you search Wimpy, you can find your nearest branch |

I miss all those lovely little corner shops, Open All Hours. You could get anything from sliced ham to a mop & bucket, before they all became Spar/Co-op shops.

"C and A. I loved that shop, it was always my “go to” clothes shop for all occasions "
Me too, their Clock House range was the only one I could get jeans and shirts in smaller sizes, back when I was a skinny runt. |
