are a damn nuisance. So many on the roads have sunk. I damaged my wheel on one again for the second time this year even though I try yo be as careful as possible. Grrrrrrrrr

I have one in my back porch. The previous owner decided to put what was described as a 'sun room' (on the north side of the house) on top of a manhole. In the middle of my tiled floor is a glorious, massive, grey manhole

Oh no!. Paint it gold, draw some rays and turn it into a feature for the 'sunroom'
