Yes BUT .........
There are olives and then there's olives...
I like Queen olives ..
Im not suprised that some don't like olives if they think that the cheap supermarket ones are indicative of all olives...
Yes I do eat the supermarket ones on weekdays. don't judge me! |

Yes, love olives both to cook with and as a snack. Although snacking olives do have to be the good quality ones!
Strange because I hated them as a kid, funny how tastes change as we get older |

Man! Olives are the food of the gods!
There are definitely some poor olives out there, but mostly they are gorgeous.
Chopped up and mixed into the dough before you make fresh bread.
As a tapas on a cocktail stick with a qual egg and wrapped in an anchovy.
Stuffed (but not with cheese, that's vile)
A bowl of olives with a cold wine.
In a casserole with beef, shallots and tomato.
Pickled with garlic pieces.
Pickled or soaked in oil with hot chilli pieces.
On the end of a banderilla. (a cocktail stick of mixed pickles).
Smashed into a tapenade and spread on great bread or a cracker.
Oil with balsamic vinegar to dip warm fresh bread into.
As somebody else said above, DON'T eat them straight from the tree, they need to go through a process first. |

"Have you ever eaten Olive on the buses?"
She died earlier this year. Although her character was deliberately plain and dowdy, she was a really attractive woman. In her heyday, people would have queued to eat her!

Absolutely love them. On their own, in salads, olive bread, pizza, olive paste on a bruschetta, ... You can't beat having some lovely green olives with a nice drink like a g&t. I am happy most good bars and hotels do them now if you ask instead of crisps and peanuts that they would normally bring you. |

local, but not too local |
I love some olives. Others are awful.
It’s an acquired taste. I got mine sat on a balcony in Tuscany with a bottle of red, a gorgeous woman, and pinging the stones out over the hillside.
I don’t like the nasty shrivelled up ones though.
It helps if you like the taste of Benylin. |

Once tried a black Kalamata olive dipped into a chocolate fountain…..Amazing "
Never had them in chocolate but if you say they are amazing, will take your word for now. Yes the Kalamata ones are very nice though I like the big green ones with a drink |
