Anybody else get annoyed when watching a tv programme and it keeps showing whats coming up? Drives me mad, i like the surprise of whats coming up and going to happen. Not a small clip giving away and ruining what your about to see 5 min later. Rant over |

Here occasionally, but mostly somewhere else |
It's just padding, along with "before the break, Annabel and Gerald were arguing about whether to go to Spain or sell the clock...but there's a third option...."
Attention spans get shorter, more of this crap happens, more ad breaks get inserted, attention spans get even shorter, etc etc.
Ooh, a squirrel! |

'coming up ' and 'previously on '
Annoys the hell out of me. The first five minutes of loads of shows are taken up with clips of what's about to happen. It reminds me of essay writing advice
Say what you're going to say.
Say it.
Say what you said.

In the west. |
I wish the programme would show the full piece at one time. Homes under the hammer show you the house, auction then the buyer and what they are going to do to the place. They then go back 15 minutes later and go repeat what they have already shown.
It's really just cheap TV. |
