What words do you really, really hate? A colleague of mine cannot stand to say the word 'nipple'; she cannot even stand to HEAR anyone say it, so in our lunchtime chats this is considered taboo.
I can't think of one right now which is taboo apart from racist ones.

In general conversation the word "slut",i hear so many people mainly women say "oh look at her you can tell what she is" then another will say "yeah shes a slut".
A lot of people are still stuck in the victorian ages and think women should hide them selves away for some reason |

Not really the word but how it is used.
"like".
"I was going shopping, like and this fit lad was like all over the floor and like"... get my point?
I know of a girl who hated it when I said "clunge". I think its a brilliant word to wind up people and make things that much more vulgar.
/landan accent "KNEE DEEP IN CLUNGE!"

It's a common myth that it means 'pregnant goldfish' actually.
I know it is derogatory - I have no idea why I like it. |

The word twat has various functions. It is a vulgar synonym for the human vulva but is more widely used as a derogatory epithet, especially in British English. The word may originate from Old Norse þveit meaning cut, slit, or forest clearing.

I actually dislike the word 'hate'. I feel it is a lot stronger than the flippant swear words that are thrown around |

I don't like that either, probably cos that twattish oaf Scott Mills OFF OF (used ironically) Radio 1 uses it a lot |

The Nom nonsense is laughable and god knows why people put it on threads or in texts. I think its used when people lack vocabulary
to express themselves in other ways. |

I dislike the C word and would never use it.
I also find it difficult to use the word pussy, it feels unnatural and I'm very aware of it and I feel a bit embarrassed if I've ever said that word, in clubs etc.
I don't swear very much so swear words fee wrong in everyday conversations. I would also never use derogatory words for vaginas either.

There are two words which just make me want to slap the persons who say them!!
"COOL" when someone agrees with some action or saying.
And that terrible word, which has been imported from the States, which gets into everything these days... "AWESOME"
Grrrrrrr! |

See, I don't mind the C word, my problem is with the word "Fanny"...
I remember being tucked up in bed when I was about 6 years old on holiday and I over heard a Welsh lass next door shout "Oh yeah, put yer face in my fuckin' fanny!".
Traumatised me for life...

Also drives me mad, I say text, M says texted.
Both are correct but text sounds far better! |
