So I got bitten 3 weeks ago been taking antihistamines and antihistamine cream.

Last night my legs was on fire (tbh they still are). Took myself to A&E at 1:45 this morning I didn't get seen until 4:30am. Then gone to work at 6:30 so today is a killer.

So apart from the antibiotics have given me and probably a cold bath when I get home from work what other ways could soothe my legs?

Also who has had a spider bite before and how did you cope?

Canvey Island

Skin cream with Aloe Vera in it, as it’ll help sooth the burning sensation.

What was you bitten by!?

Sounds like cellulitis, hope you feel better soon, I’d a nasty bite from a horsefly that left me in a similar position.

Are you australian? Going to a&e for a spider bite is a little extreme.

This Australian would go straight to A&E, do not pass go, do not collect $200

(Although when I think spider bite, I think redbacks and funnelwebs. A&E is necessary for the not dying thing )

Tom knew this is on the increase. It could of been a False Widow spider but never discount what these amateur tropical insect keeper types have let escape from their aquariums. A and E is the best place to go, but if Tom was on triage he would have fastracked the OP.

I take it you've never been bitten by a false widow (the native cousin to the black widow). My legs are absolutely ballooned up.
