"No , since ended yes "

I should have also said. Before pandemic , I was working . Company had very strict rules on alcohol and drugs. I worked a very odd shift pattern also. I retired end December 2019. So no normally now have a drink Friday ,Saturday and sometimes Sunday night. Tonight yes again drinks. But did not have any Friday or Sunday

Probably less as I don't drink at home on my own, and socialising seems far less frequent since lockdown ended.

A lot less for me. I used to drink because I could turn up at certain pubs at any time and know the crowd that would be there. I like to drink but it has to be social. When lockdowns came, the thought of drinking at home on my own did nothing for me, but those lockdowns also broke the patterns my creature of habit friends adhered to so now I don’t even bother ‘dropping in when passing’

In short - yes. Quite a bit more unfortunately.

Which disgusts me to be honest. My father was a vile alcoholic and I swore never to be like him.

I don't drink heavily or every day but it's still at the back of my mind

Yup, but that's more because I find it enjoyable again since I left my ex just after lockdown started

I wish I enjoyed drinking more than I do. I enjoy a cocktail and the occasional glass of wine or vodka and soda but not enough to make it a regular thing

During actual lockdown I drank more, but since restrictions ended I'm back to very rarely drinking.

How about you Jim?

during lock down I drank loads more due to boredom, but this year it's like once a week, if I'm with friends I drink more and then end up on here trying to chat to people way out of my league.

I've been drinking very little the last couple of years. I've got a box of 18 beers I got for last Christmas, I haven't opened it yet.

Nope I've been drinking alot less. I don't drink wine at home anymore and just have a cheeky couple out with meals or a few out at the beer gardens.
