I have no friends who share my first name, and outside my husband's relatives I don't know anyone who has our surname either.
However I do have about 3 work colleagues with the same first name as me. I find it massively annoying as you're always checking who people are talking to. But I suppose there is an affinity there too  |

I dont know anyone with the same surname as mine apart from my ex-husband and his family. I'm told it's from Yorkshire so unless I move, it's relatively unlikely I'll encounter many people with my surname daaan saaaaf.
The only time I've ever worked with anyone with the same forename was my first ever job in 1987, and I was naive enough to agree to shortening my name (which I hate!) to avoid everyone else getting confused between the two of us  |
