So I've recently applied for a job with Arnold Clark. Role is described as a Customer Service Executive. First interview lined up for Tuesday

Has anyone here worked with them as a company? Good, bad or ugly?

Any horror stories?

Someone I know had an absolute nightmare with them. They bought a car with free nationwide delivery but they wouldn’t deliver it. Then it came with 6 months warranty and when my friend rang to get a fault fixed they kept saying we’ll get back to you. They rang weekly asking for it fixed and they kept getting the same response.

Magically when the 6 month warranty was up a mechanic rang back and tried to book the car in to be fixed at my friends expense.

Spent 30 years in the motor trade and from all I've heard I'd rather sand my nutsack with broken glass than work for them.

Get used to the word ‘target’. Good luck though, hope it works out for you
